Brad Blanton Phd. is a psychotherapist, trainer and american writer, author of the «Radical Honesty» bestseller, a book and a theory that challenges a fundamental and almost unchallenged belief of our society. In a truly honest talk, maybe brutally honest, Mr. Blanton convinced the audience that honesty, and not politeness or political correctness is the essence of human relationships and a fulfilled life. Maybe being radically honest all the time is difficult to accept, maybe it is even an idea that a lot of people cannot digest but it is surely an idea that at least has to be intellectually entertained.

It seems like were living in an epidemic of false belief. Clearly the other side just doesn’t have all the facts, right? Or are they really that stupid? In this fascinating and hilarious talk, cognitive scientist Philip Fernbach peels back the layers of what we really know and reveals some surprising truths about the human mind. Philip Fernbach is a cognitive scientist and professor in the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Co-author of The Knowledge Ilusion: Why We Never Think Alone, Philips research focuses on why we think we know more than we actually do and the implications this has on individuals and society. He lives in Boulder with his wife and two children. In his free time, he plays bluegrass music and ice hockey. By changing the way she talked and thought about herself, Kari Romeo was able to turn insecurity into joy, doubt into confidence, and shame into self-love. This is the story of how she became a more happy, confident woman. Kari believes that every human being has unlimited potential and that the key to unlocking that potential is learning to love ourselves. For most of her life, Kari doubted her abilities, her self-worth and struggled with a poor self-image. To the outsider, she seemed quite successful, giving little indication of the almost constant negative discourse going on in her own head. When Kari finally learned to love and appreciate herself, she found her pathway to success and happiness. Now she brings simple steps to help others release themselves from their judgmental prisons and open a world of unlimited potential.

Prof. Phoebe Koundouri talks about the Sustainability Transition in Greece in the context of sustainable recovery post the 2020 covid19 virus pandemic.
Whilst the world is focussed on the pandemic, Prof. Koundouri reminds us to pay attention to the ‘mother of all crisis’, the climate crisis.
She describes the urgent need to decarbonise national energy plans and presents technological pathways to enable decarbonisation.
With the aim of ‘leaving no one behind’, job space green recovery, sustainable and inclusive economies, she emphasizes the need for up-skilling and reskilling the labour force to keep up with the 4th industrial revolution towards sustainability.
Looking specifically at the role of ESG reporting and green finance lead innovation, she explains the importance of the EU taxonomy and the creation of clusters on sustainability transition.

Познер побывает в самой обычной общеобразовательной школе на окраине Хельсинки. Директор школы Леэна Сиппонен проведет для него экскурсию по школе, расскажет о методике преподавания, о том, чему прежде всего учителя уделяют внимание в процессе обучения, о правах и обязанностях учащихся. Открытием для ведущего станет посещение образовательного центра «Эврика», который является ярчайшей иллюстрацией того, как вообще учат и воспитывают детей в Финляндии.
