By changing the way she talked and thought about herself, Kari Romeo was able to turn insecurity into joy, doubt into confidence, and shame into self-love. This is the story of how she became a more happy, confident woman. Kari believes that every human being has unlimited potential and that the key to unlocking that potential is learning to love ourselves. For most of her life, Kari doubted her abilities, her self-worth and struggled with a poor self-image. To the outsider, she seemed quite successful, giving little indication of the almost constant negative discourse going on in her own head. When Kari finally learned to love and appreciate herself, she found her pathway to success and happiness. Now she brings simple steps to help others release themselves from their judgmental prisons and open a world of unlimited potential.

He has authored and co-authored more than 50 scientific papers and reports and his work has been broadcast on NPR, BBC, PBS, National Geographic and Animal Planet and featured in Time, Newsweek, GQ, Outside Magazine, Fast Company, Scientific American, and New Scientist, among others. Dr. Nick Fuhrman is an associate professor of environmental education in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication. Also known as “Ranger Nick,” he teaches graduate courses in educational program development and data analysis and undergraduate courses in environmental education and teaching methods. Dr. Fuhrman received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Forestry from Virginia Tech and his PhD in Agricultural Education and Communication from the University of Florida. His life’s passion is teaching, and he often uses live animals (such as snakes, turtles, and owls) in the classroom and on his monthly television series, Ranger Nick. Dr. Fuhrman and his wife, Jessica, have a son, Miles, who already seems to love animals and the outdoors as much as his dad. Комедийный художественный фильм «Девчата», снятый в 1961 г., в СССР режиссёром Юрием Чулюкиным по одноимённой повести Б. Бедного.
На северные лесозаготовки приезжает Тося Кислицына — выпускница Симферопольского кулинарного училища, сирота, совсем девчонка, — умница, настоящий товарищ. На первых же танцах она отбривает местного кумира — лучшего бригадира Илью Ковригина, и начинается у них любовь-борьба, в лучших традициях советских лирических комедий.
Первый раз комедию показали в марте 1962 года в зале ЦДК. На премьеру пришли все, кроме Инны Макаровой. Она была обижена за то, что убрали финальную сцену её расставания с женихом. Картина сразу понравилась зрителям и даже критикам. Но высокое начальство посчитало, что комедия чересчур бытовая и мелковата для советского экрана, поэтому фильму была присвоена третья прокатная категория.
За рубежом картина имела успех. Получила приз Эдинбургского кинофестиваля и приз кинофестиваля в Мар-дель-Плата. Зарубежные газеты называли Румянцеву «Чарли Чаплин в юбке», а итальянцы — «русской Джульеттой Мазиной».
