She broke the Guinness World Record for the youngest person to travel to every country in the world. To give this achievement some context, more people have been to space than have traveled to all 196 sovereign nations and approximately less than 20 of those people are women. In this TEDx talk, Lexie shares her stories from around the world to inspire others, especially young women, to follow their dreams, to get out of their comfort zone and to stimulate personal growth. Lexie Alford was born in a small town called Nevada City, California. She has been traveling for as long as she can remember with her family who started a travel agency. Парк, находящийся недалеко от Принстона, не только знакомит с современной скульптурой и популяризирует изобразительное искусство (Моне, Руссо, Матисс, Ренуар, Мунк), но и создает новую реальность своими композициями, выполненными в человеческий рост, и воспроизводящими поверхности кожи и материалов с детальной точностью). Очень интересно обнаруживать в разных уголках парка скульптуры, которые принимаешь за людей и людей, которых подозреваешь в скульптурности. Отдельное впечатление- скульптуры в многоэтажный дом. В парке есть чудесный ресторанчик с романтичным пейзажем.

Я уже гулял по этой части Манхэттена, но район Вашингтон-Хайтс настолько интересный и многогранный, что за один раз там все не показать и не рассказать. В этой прогулке посмотрим на жилую архитектуру 20-х годов прошлого века, на столетние дома висящие в воздухе, на длинный туннель ведущий на станцию метро, и на многое другое.
