По многим причинам, дети остаются сиротами. Кто-то лишился родителей из-за их пьянства и плохого отношения к ним, кто-то потерял родителей по чужой вине или по случайному обстоятельству. Поэтому сегодня, на канале Ходят Слухи, мы поговорим про детей из детских домов, выпускников домов семейного типа и тех, кого вернули обратно в детдом через несколько лет жизни в новой семье. Наши гости расскажут о проблемах в таких учреждениях, как им приходилось бороться с системой и выживать. Мы услышим ужасные истории из их жизни, с которыми должны были бороться социальные службы, но это никто не сделал.

Neuroscientist and 4 time Guinness World Record Holder for Memory Dr. Boris Nikolai Konrad believes in a World, where students are passionate about learning and believe memorization is fun and easy. In his TEDtalk he answers the question «How does memory work?» and explains how to improve memory by using your brain the way it is meant to be used. Dr. Boris Nikolai Konrad is a Guinness World Record holder for memory, a neuroscientist, an author, and an international expert on memory improvement. He teaches memory techniques anyone can employ to achieve outstanding memory performances. Graphene – the material that you find at the end of your pencil – has been hailed as a wonder material of the 21st century. Researchers from the Centre for Graphene Science at the University of Exeter explain how it is capable of revolutionising the way our technology works, making it stronger, better and faster. Monica Craciun is Professor in the Engineering Department at the University of Exeter and a leading expert in nanomaterials. She has been awarded a prestigious Engineering Fellowship for Growth, aimed at maintaining UK’s leadership in Advanced Materials (which is one of the eight Great Technologies identified as crucial for the future prosperity of the UK).

Dimitar, who is currently a Research Consultant at Cast, was Monica’s PhD student at the University of Exeter. He came up with the idea of using graphene to make concrete stronger, which ultimately leads to 50% reduction of carbon emissions in the construction industry. His invention attracted a lot of media attention and got shortlisted for the UK TechFest 2018 awards. Brené is the author of I Thought It Was Just Me (but it isnt): Telling the Truth About Perfectionism, Inadequacy, and Power (2007) and the forthcoming books, The Gifts of Imperfection (2010) and Wholehearted: Spiritual Adventures in Falling Apart, Growing Up, and Finding Joy ( 2011).
