Psychological and verbal abuse are the most common elements of domestic violence, yet they are the least talked about. A survivor of domestic violence, Lizzy Glazer, discusses her experiences. In her TEDx talk, she identifies five common signs of abuse, acknowledges the guilt and shame victims feel, and raises awareness of the invisible scars of psychological and verbal abuse.

Программа «О жизни, любви, смерти и памяти»

Программу встреч, организованный Благотворительным фондом «Дом с маяком» в партнерстве с Еврейским музеем и Центром толерантности, мы решили посвятить обсуждению фундаментальных и неотъемлемых составляющих человеческого существования «жизни, любви, смерти и памяти».

О Доме с маяком

Детский хоспис «Дом с маяком» — это частное медицинское благотворительное учреждение. Мы назвали наш хоспис «Дом с маяком», потому что, когда в семье неизлечимо болен ребенок, это похоже на шторм: земля уходит из-под ног, и вокруг темнота. Маяк подает сигнал — на свете есть место, где помогут справиться с болью, там дружат и играют с детьми, радуются каждому дню.

Стационар Детского хосписа строится. С 2013 года на территории Москвы и Московской области работает выездная служба паллиативной помощи. За год в среднем 800 детей получают помощь.

Детский хоспис заботится о качестве жизни больного ребенка и всей его семьи. Мы не занимаемся лечением основного заболевания или реабилитацией, но лечим симптомы и создаем условия, чтобы ребенок и вся семья могли жить максимально полной, активной, нормальной жизнью — у себя дома, а не в больнице. Детский хоспис — это не только медицинский уход. Это игры и веселые праздники, загородные лагеря, это забота о братьях и сестрах, мамах и папах, бабушках и дедушках. Хоспис исполняет мечты детей, дает передышку родителям и поддерживает семью и после утраты ребенка. Детский хоспис — это комплексная медицинская, социальная, психологическая и духовная помощь для всей семьи.

Детский хоспис «Дом с маяком» существует на благотворительные пожертвования.
