Attorney Marilyn York owns a Men’s Rights Family Law Firm in Reno Nevada, established in 2001. She and her ten female employees focus on representing men for two reasons: 1. As her talk explains, fathers are crucial in the upbringing and development of their children; and 2. Fathers are the disadvantaged parent in family court and society and while the laws are improving, the statistics are not. There are currently more than 17,000,000 children growing up in America without their fathers and every year this number is growing. According to the Center for Disease Control, children from fatherless homes account for 90% of homeless and runaway children; 71% of high school dropouts and 63% of youth suicides. York is a Mens Rights Divorce Attorney, licensed in California since 1998 and Nevada since 1999, where she is a Certified Family Law Specialist. Marilyn chose her career because of her passion for children and relationships but most of all, Marilyn is driven to help underdogs. While the laws are improving for men, not all laws are yet gender equal and the interpretation and enforcement of those that are, have a long way to go. Despite her focus on representing men, Marilyn has a deep compassion for women in need as well. It isnt lost on Marilyn that women remain disadvantaged outside Family Court. She serves that need as Board President for a local housing program for homeless young women, Nevada Youth Empowerment Project, or NYEP. 8 октября 2019 года в Риге с интереснейшей лекцией «Математика и теория игр вокруг нас» выступил известный российский математик, профессор Московского физико-технического института Алексей Савватеев.
В первой части лекции популяризатор математики расскажет (и покажет на конкретных задачах), как изучение математики может привести нас к решению самых необычных и сложных повседневных задач.
Во второй части лекции расскажет о теории игр – дисциплине, соединяющей математику и социальные науки. Теорию игр активно применяют в бизнесе, управлении, международных отношениях, психологии и даже юриспруденции. О теории игр был снят знаменитый фильм «Игры разума».

Идешь по главной улице — всё разбито, везде ямы, лужи и алкомаркеты. Там, где могла бы быть набережная — промзона, гаражи и бутылки. Но зато красивый Ростовский кремль и Спасо-Яковлевский монастырь, много деревянных домиков, памятников истории и культуры. Правда, все они в удручающем состоянии. Как же так и что с этим будет дальше?

Dan Schneider came face to face with unspeakable tragedy on April 14, 1999 when his 22 year old son was shot and killed while attempting to buy drugs in New Orleans. Dan speaks on his experience searching for his son’s killer, how it fueled his fight against the opioid epidemic, and how he found the light through the Tunnel of Hope.

I married my high school sweetheart, Annie, in 1971. She worked, I went to Pharmacy School and worked part-time. I became a Pharmacist in 1975 and she became a stay at home Mom. Our son Danny was born 9/27/76. Lil Danny was a blond haired blue eyed beautiful boy. He brought us much joy. Our daughter Kristi came along in 1980 and completed what many called the Griswald family. Station wagon, family trips, and a 17 ft. Christmas tree.
On 4/14/1999 our life changed. Our son was murdered while trying to buy drugs.
Our story was told in in the Netflix docuseries „“The Pharmacist»" .The story is not over, it is still being written. We are trying to build a nationwide movement to end the Opioid and Addiction Pandemic that has killed nearly a million since since my son died.
